Inspect

This simple macro will attempt to inspect your target from any distance, so you can see their character model. Its useful for telling if someone is holding a 2hander, or Sword/Board.

/inspect target

Spammable wand

You can spam the key and the first press, while not casting/walking/etc will activate the “wand-swingtimer”. The following presses will not stop/reset/interrupt the “wand-swingtimer”. If you spam it for 10 sec continuously you will stop to shoot, but that will never happpen under normal conditions. To stop the wandattacks you just have to move/jump/press escape.

#showtooltip Shoot
/castsequence !Shoot, !Shoot

Focus Your Mouseover

Pressing this macro will set your Focus target to your current mouse over target.

/focus [target=mouseover]

Self Bandage

Bandages yourself

/use [target=player]Heavy Frostweave Bandage

Disable Macro Click SFX

If you’re sick of that noise it makes when you mash the button, simply make a macro for your most used spammable spells. Works the best together with ErrorMonster Addon to get rid of that red text spam aswell.

/console Sound_EnableSFX 0
[Your Macro Here]
/console Sound_EnableSFX 1

Auto Mount 3.0 Including Dalaran and Wintergrasp – Alternative Version

This macro will use a flying mount if you can, otherwise it will use your regular mount. Note: You have to fill in the names of your mounts. This will let you fly at Dalaran landing pad as well. Replace t={1} with the slot of your ground mount. Replace t={2} with the slot of your flying mount. These slots refer to the slot position in your Pet -> Mount tab.
/run if IsMounted()then return end local t if((GetRealZoneText()==”Dalaran”) and (GetSubZoneText() ~=”Krasus’ Landing”) or (GetZoneText()==”Wintergrasp”) or not IsFlyableArea()) then t={1} else t={2} end CallCompanion(”MOUNT”,t[random(#t)]) /dismount

Auto Mount 3.0 Including Dalaran and Wintergrasp

This macro will use a flying mount if you can, otherwise it will use your regular mount. Note: You have to fill in the names of your mounts. This will let you fly at Dalaran landing pad as well.

/script local m=GetZoneText() if (m==”Dalaran” or m==”Wintergrasp”) and (GetSubZoneText()~=”Krasus’ Landing”) then CallCompanion(”MOUNT”, 1);end
/cast [nomounted, flyable] [NAME OF YOUR FLYER]()
/cast [nomounted, noflyable] [NAME OF YOUR GROUND MOUNT]()
/dismount [mounted]

Auto Mount 3.0

This macro will use a flying mount if you can, otherwise it will use your regular mount. Note: You have to fill in the names of your mounts.
/cast [nomounted, flyable] [NAME OF YOUR FLYER]() /cast [nomounted, noflyable] [NAME OF YOUR GROUND MOUNT]() /dismount [mounted]

/cast [nomounted, flyable] [NAME OF YOUR FLYER]()
/cast [nomounted, noflyable] [NAME OF YOUR GROUND MOUNT]()
/dismount [mounted]

Auto Mount v3.0 Script

Try the above macro in 3.0 first. If for whatever reason it does not work for you, this script should work. Change the 4 followed by *REPLACETHIS* to the position in your Pet tab of your flying mount. change the 1 followed by *REPLACETHIS* to the position in your Pet tab of your land mount. For Example: (”MOUNT”, 1*REPLACETHIS*) changes to (”MOUNT”, 2)

/script SetMapToCurrentZone(); local cont = GetCurrentMapContinent(); if IsMounted() then Dismount(); else if (cont == 3) or ((cont == 4) and (UnitLevel(”player”) >= 77)) then CallCompanion(”MOUNT”, 4*REPLACETHIS*); else CallCompanion(”MOUNT”, 1*REPLACETHIS*) end end

Auto Random Mount

If able, will mount you on a random flying mount in your bag, otherwise it will mount you on a random ground mount. Lots of fun for people who have many mounts. Note: You have to fill in the names (FlyingMountX, GroundMountX) with your mounts.

/castrandom [flyable] FlyingMount1, Flyingmount2, FlyingMount3
/castrandom GroundMount1, GroundMount2, GroundMount3
/dismount

Raid Target your Team

Puts raid targets on each of your team mates. Repace the <Player Name> with your team members. Only do once all team members are in and the warlocks have summoned their pets. Changing the numbers will change the raid symbol

/script SetRaidTargetIcon(”<Player Name>”,5)
/script SetRaidTargetIcon(”<Player Name>”,2)
/script SetRaidTargetIcon(”<Player Name>”,4)
/script SetRaidTargetIcon(”<Player Name>”,1)

Drink All Waters/Eat

Eat or drink anything you would have with you in the Arena. Uses the water at the top first.

/use Conjured Mana Strudel
/use Star’s Sorrows

Battle Master Trinket/Healthstone)

Use this macro to pop both your Battlemaster trinket along with your Healthstone for a nice HP Boost.

/use [EDIT HERE UR TRINKET];
/use Fel Healthstone

Use Trinkets

Press the macro normally to use your top equipped trinket and press shift and the macro to use the bottom trinket.

/use [nomodifier] 13
/use [modifier:shift] 14

Combined Set/Clear Focus

Which will set your focus to whatever your mouse is hovering over, if it is hovering over a target. If not, it will set focus to your current target, if you have one. If you have neither a mouseover target, nor a currently selected target it will clear your current focus.

/focus [target=mouseover,exists][exists]
/stopmacro [target=mouseover,exists][exists]
/clearfocus

Max Camera Distance

This will set your camera distance(how far you can scroll bac) to the maximum.

/script SetCVar(”cameraDistanceMax”,30)

/use [nomod] EDIT HERE UR TRINKET;
/use Fel Healthstone
/cast [mod:shift] Create Healthstone;

Make and apply Spellstone/Firestone

It makes a spellstone. Another click applies it to your weapon. If you still have the buff it will apply it and click the confirmation box asking if you want to replace it. If you hold shift and use the macro it will Create and Use a Firestone in the same way. Note: This macro is written for the Level 80 spells. If you do not have the Grand Firestone/Grand Spellstone spell yet, substitute Fel Firestone/Fel Spellstone.

Raid Target Re-summoned Pet

It casts Soul Link and marks your pet so he is easier to find. This macro happens to mark your pet with the X. The mark is determined by the number ‘7′ in this example. You can change the number to be any of the Raid targets (1-8).

showtooltip Soul Link
/cast Soul Link

Dismount/Devour

Works just like devour regularly if your not mounted, cept you can spam it if you are mounted to devour a target. The point of this is so you can Devour a Rogue/Druid out of stealth if you get Sapped. this is a VERY common situation when you rush the enemy side and get too close to the Rogue and get Sapped.

#showtooltip Devour Magic
/dismount [mounted]

Fear and Fear Focus

Chain Fear Focus Target

If you do not have a focus target it will set your mouseover as focus target. It will fear your focus target. You can clear your focus target by “ctrl” clicking the macro or if you target dies.

#Showtooltip Fear

Spammable Drain

This will check if you’re currently casting Drain Life, and if you are… it will not cast it again, if you aren’t it will cast it. Mana Efficiency! You can replace ‘Drain Life’ with any other channeled spell for the same effect.

/cast [nochanneling: Drain Life] Drain Life

Spell Lock/Intercept Focus Macro

/cast [target=focus,exists,nodead, pet:felguard] Intercept; Intercept
/cast [target=focus,exists,nodead, pet:felhunter] Spell Lock; Spell Lock

Felhunter Attack/Devour Magic

Has your Felhunter attack if he isnt already. Next checks to see if u have any debuffs on yourself, if u do he removes it, if not, he then checks to see if the target enemy has any buffs on him, if he does he removes it, finally it checks to see if the person the enemy is targeting has a debuffs on them (Friend or enemy) and if he does removes it. It will always retarget your last target too so you don’t lose the enemy. Good for spamming.

1) Press the macro to put Devour Magic on auto and cast Devour Magic on pet’s target. 2) Shift + Press/Click the macro to take Devour Magic off auto, preventing autocasting to be done and allowing it to be used manually for defensive devours. 3) Devour Magic will likely be on CD when its needed defensively (a repercussion for using it offensively a lot), but simply wait for the CD to be finished. Once Devour Magic’s CD is over, mouseover your teamate’s party plate on the left side of the screen and Shift + Press/Click the macro to devour the debuff on him. 4) If desired, keep DM off auto-cast in order to save it for devouring debuffs of teamates for the rest of the fight. ~OR~ Press/Click the macro to put the devour magic back on auto-cast and devour the pet’s target’s buffs.

First push casts lichborne, second one cancels it

#showtooltip Lichborne

Party Member Leap

Causes your pet to leap to your designated party member. Useful to stop hunter scatter – traps.

#showtooltip Leap
/cast [PARTYMEMBERNAMEHERE] Leap

Mark of Blood + Shift Focus Mark of Blood

Casts Mark of Blood on your current target. If you are holding down shift, it will cast it on your focus target.

#showtooltip
/use [mod:shift,target=focus] Mark of Blood;Mark of Blood

Mark of Blood Mouseover

Casts Mark of Blood on your mouseover target, or current target if you have no mouseover.

#showtooltip Mark of Blood
/cast [target=mouseover, exists] Mark of Blood; Mark of Blood

Mark of Blood Mouseover + Shift Focus

This MoB’s focus while shift is pressed, mouseover if nomod and your mouseover is not dead and is an enemy, and your current target otherwise.

#showtooltip
/use [mod:shift, target=focus, exists, nodead, harm] Mark of Blood;[target=mouseover, exists, nodead, harm] Mark of Blood; Mark of Blood

Corpse Explosion used on Ghoul

Uses your ghoul as the target of corpse explosion.

#showtooltip Corpse Explosion
/target pet
/cast Corpse Explosion
/targetlasttarget

Lichborne Self Heal

If you have Lichborne, this macro will first cast Lichborne then cast death coil on yourself to heal you with one button ( you control how you use death coil by just clicking this macro as many times as you need with lichborne up ). You will not deselect your current target. Glyph of Death’s Embrace works great with this (Glyph of Death’s Embrace – Use: Your Death Coil refunds 20 runic power when used to heal).

#showtooltip Lichborne
/cast !Lichborne;
/cast [target=player] Death Coil

Vampiric Blood/Rune Tap Heal

If you have rune tap / vampiric blood, this macro will cast vampiric blood and use a rune to heal. You only need to hit this macro once ( note that this costs 2 blood runes, so make sure you have them available or else you will have to hit this macro again ). You can continue to hit this macro everytime the rune tap cooldown is up, making key binding easier for yourself.

#showtooltip Vampiric Blood
/cast !Vampiric Blood;
/cast Rune Tap

Universal Rune Strike Macro

This is the universal rune strike macro, rune strike is an amazing ability that is totally worth the RP. This macro will bind your current instant attack that you benefit most from your spec, as well as setting up a rune strike attack when its possible ( after you dodge / parry ).

#showtooltip ( instant damage attack )
/script UIErrorsFrame:UnregisterEvent(”UI_ERROR_MESSAGE”);
/cast ( instant damage attack );
/cast !Rune Strike;
/script UIErrorsFrame:RegisterEvent(”UI_ERROR_MESSAGE”);

Presence Dance

Depending on your key binding, when you use it in conjunction with ctrl it will swap you into frost presence if you aren’t in it, if you are, it will do nothing, so hitting shift will put you on blood presence etc.

/cast [modifier: ctrl] Frost Presence; [modifier: shift] Blood Presence; [nomodifier] Unholy Presence

Hysteria + Racial + Trinket

Hysteria can be cast on another player or myself, this will take care of that as well as adding any other usable buffs. This will first check if you are currently targeting a friendly target, if you are then it will cast hysteria on that player, if you are not then it will move to the next line. The second part is made so if you are targeting an enemy player or nothing at all it will cast hysteria on yourself. The last part is the addition of racials / trinkets, this macro will only cast both of them if you are targeting an enemy player, if you are targeting nothing and/or a friendly player then you will not use them.

/cast [noharm, exists] Hysteria;
/cast [target=player] Hysteria;
/cast [harm,exists] Blood Fury; ( racial )
/use [harm,exists] 14 ( 13 or 14, depending on where your trinket is )

Death Grip Mouseover

Casts death grip on your mouseover target, or current target if you have no mouseover.

#showtooltip death grip
/cast [target=mouseover, exists] death grip; death grip

Death Grip Focus

Casts death grip on your focus target, or current target if you have no focus.

#showtooltip death grip
/cast [target=focus, exists] death grip; death grip

Strangulate Mouseover

Casts strangulate on your mouseover target, or current target if you have no mouseover.

#showtooltip strangulate
/cast [target=mouseover, exists] strangulate; strangulate

Strangulate Focus

Casts strangulate on your focus target, or current target if you have no focus.

#showtooltip strangulate
/cast [target=focus, exists] strangulate; strangulate

Strangulate + Shift Focus Strangulate

Casts strangulate on your current target. If you are holding down shift, it will cast it on your focus target.

#showtooltip strangulate
/cast [modifier:shift, target=focus] strangulate
/cast [nomodifier:shift] strangulate

Pet Macro Gnaw/Leap + Focus

Macro to use your pet’s gnaw and leap abilities based on your current target. Uses it on your focus target if you are holding shift.

#showtooltip Gnaw
/cast [nomodifier] leap

Pet Leap Back + Heal

Macro to have your pet leap back your healer and then heal it with a death coil.

/cast [target=yourhealer] leap
/cast [target=pet] death coil

Death Coil Mouseover

Casts death coil on your current target. If you are holding alt, it casts death coil on your mouseover target.

#showtooltip Death Coil
/cast [nomodifier] Death Coil
/cast [modifier:alt, target=mouseover] Death Coil

Swaps you to your dagger so you can use Ambush while Shadow Dancing, as well as use all your other openers/stealth skills since they aren’t based off weapon damage. Set up your second bar with your Shadow Dance abilities. See the following macro to swap back after Shadow Dance has ended.

#showtooltip Shadow Dance
/swapactionbar 2

Shadowdance + Dagger + Ambush – Switch Back

This macro compliments the previous macro. After Shadow Dance is over, use this macro to swap to your slow mainhand before you use Hemorrhage again.

#showtooltip Hemorrhage(Rank 5)
/equipslot 16 NAME OF WEAPON
/cast Hemorrhage(Rank 5)

Tricks of the Trade

This allows you to use tricks of the trade without deselecting your current target. Replace ‘YOURPARTYMEMBERHERE’ with the name of your partner.

#showtooltip Tricks of the Trade
/cast [target=YOURPARTYMEMBERHERE] Tricks of the Trade

Tricks of the Trade v2

Priority order is as follows = direct target, focus, targets target. If you have a friendly player target it will put ToTT on him or her, if you do not have a friendly player targetted but have a friendly focus it will cast ToTT on him or her, if you don’t have a friendly target or focus set it will be cast on your targets target.

#showtooltip Tricks of the Trade
/cast [help] [target=focus, help] [target=targettarget, help] Tricks of the Trade

Undead – Cannibalize + Stealth OR Vanish

This macro makes it possible to Cannibalize while stealthed (OOC) or Cannibalize while using Vanish (in combat). The macro has also been modified so you cannot Cannibalize while stealthed or vis versa. IMPORTANT: Do not hit this macro while in combat if you want to Cannibalize but not use Vanish.

#showtooltip Cannibalize
/cast [nostealth] !Cannibalize;
/cast [nocombat] !Stealth; Vanish

Shadow Dance with Hotbar Swap

Set up bar 2 to be your main bar with Sap on it, Ambush instead of Backstab, Cheap Shot instead of Kidney Shot, and Garrote over Rupture. Hit the Shadow Dance macro once to activate, and a second time to swap your bar back to normal.

#showtooltip
/cast Shadow Dance
/swapactionbar 1 2

Sap + Melee Attack

It will sap and melee your target, without breaking sap. While it will unstealth you, you have 10 seconds to restealth, and just did 500-1000 free damage.

#showtooltip Sap
/console targetNearestDistance 10,000000
/targetenemy [noharm][dead]
/console targetNearestDistance 41.000000
/cast [harm,nodead] Sap
/startattack
/stopattack

Stealth (OOC)/ Gouge (Combat)

Stealth if out of combat, otherwise in combat it uses Gouge.

#show stealth
/cast [combat] Gouge; Stealth

Evasion/Ghostly Strike

When you use Evasion it will use Ghostly Strike at the same time. If Evasion isn’t ready it will use GS without Evasion and it will show Evasion’s Cool Down.

#show Evasion
/cast Ghostly strike
/stopcasting
/cast Evasion

One Button Poisons

This macro makes one icon on your actionbars apply your poisons. Left click the button to apply to your Mainhand, right click to apply to your off hand. Hold down shift to apply Wound Poison, alt for Deadly poison, control for Crippling and del for Mind Numbing as modifiers to switch poison type. The tooltip will switch with modifier. Select the ‘?’ icon for the macro and the Icon with change with the modifiers as well.

#showtooltip
/use [nomodifier] Instant Poison VII; [modifier:ctrl] Crippling Poison II; [modifier:shift] Wound Poison V; [modifier:alt] Deadly Poison VII; [modifier:delete] Mind-numbing Poison III
/use [button:1] 16; [button:2] 17

Normal Cheap Shot (or Garotte)/Premed Cheap Shot (or Garotte)

If you push the macro normally, then youll use Cheap Shot/Garotte normally, but if you hold the modifier button (<alt> in this case), then youll use Premeditation + opener attack. So you have 2 buttons instead of 4. Replace Cheap Shot with Garotte to change the opener to Garotte

#showtooltip cheap shot
/cast [modifier:alt] premeditation
/cast Cheap shot

Shadowstep to Kidney Shot

This macro is useful for landing a Kidney Shot. To use it effectively, you should first move out of melee range or turn away from your target to prevent the Kidney Shot from registering from the front before the Shadowstep occurs.

#showtooltip Kidney Shot
/cast Shadowstep
/cast Kidney Shot

Shadowstep to Sap

Sure, both should already be bound individually, but this is useful to increase the reliability of getting a Sap off from inside a Hunter’s flare before it unstealths you, or to get a Sap off before your target moves too far out of range.

#showtooltip
/cast Shadowstep
/cast Sap

Hemorrhage + Autoattack

This can be done with any primary attack of course. The idea here is that if your energy bar is too low after target swapping, it will still start your autoattack on that target without having to use another bind.

#showtooltip Hemorrhage
/startattack
/cast Hemorrhage

Mashable Stealth

This one is often overlooked or people don’t know quite how this works. Many people will use a “/cast [nostealth] Stealth” macro, but without the exclamation point, it can cause you to exit stealth if you spam it. Instead, the macro above will NEVER cause an unstealth (but I added the ability to manually do so by using a modifier key).

#showtooltip Stealth
/cast [nomodifier] !Stealth
/cancelaura [modifier] Stealth

Shadowstep/Kick

When pressed normally it will use Shadowstep. When tapped while holding shift down it will Shadowstep then when tapped again with shift being pressed it will Kick your target.

#showtooltip Shadowstep
/castsequence [modifier:shift, target=focus] Shadowstep, Kick
/cast [nomodifier:shift] Shadowstep

Deadly Throw/Throw

Uses Deadly Throw if you have Combo Points. Otherwise, it uses Throw.

#show deadly throw
/cast deadly throw
/cast throw

Weapon Swap to Shiv

Equips another weapon to your offhand and Shivs your Target. Have an offhand for all 3 poisons. Be sure to replace the [OFFHAND] with the name of the offhand you wish to equip.

#show [OFFHAND WEAPON]
/equipslot 17 [OFFHAND WEAPON]
/cast shiv

Weapon Swap to Shiv/Back to regular Offhand.

Equips another weapon to your offhand and Shivs your Target. Have an offhand for all 3 poisons. Be sure to replace the [OFFHAND] with the name of the offhand you wish to equip. Press Alt and tap this macro to put back on your default Off Hand. It should be noted there is a 1 second cooldown on weapon changes.

#show [OFFHAND WEAPON]
/equipslot 17 [OFFHAND WEAPON]
/cast shiv
/equipslot [modifier:alt] 17 [DEFAULT OFFHAND WEAPON]

Ambush if Stealthed otherwise Backstab

If you are stealthed it will ambush the target. Otherwise it will backstab.

/cast [stealth] Ambush; Backstab

Blind Mouseover

This will blind the target your are mousingover. If you do not have a target under your mouse it will blind your target.

/cast [target=mouseover, exists] Blind; blind

Blind Target Alt Blind Focus

This makes you Blind your target by using the macro at normal. But if you hold alt down, then you will Blind your Focus target.

#showtooltip
/cast [nomodifier] blind
/cast [modifier:alt, target=focus] blind
/stopmacro [nomodifier]

Blind Focus

This will Blind your focus target if you have one. If you do not have one, it will Blind your current target.

/cast [target=focus, exists] Blind; blind;

Cold Blood/Eviscerate

One button press for a Cold Blooded Eviscerate.

/cast Cold Blood
/cast Eviscerate

Gouge then Bandage

Gouge the target then bandage yourself.

/cast Gouge
/stopcasting
/use [target=player] Heavy Netherweave Bandage

Dismount/Smashable Sap Enemy

This macro will dismount you, stealth you, and then try and sap a stealthed guy. So keep mashing this one when you suspect a stealther nearby.

#show Stealth
/dismount
/cast [stance:0] !Stealth
/targetenemy [harm][nodead]
/cast Sap

Smashable Sap Enemy

This tries to target your nearest enemy and Sap them if you have no target selected. If you have a target already selected it shouldn’t drop your current target. This is also great for getting a Sap off an opposing stealthed enemy you are looking for.

#showtooltip Sap
/targetenemy [harm][nodead]
/targetenemy [noharm][dead]
/cast Sap

Clear Target/Sap

Another flavor for Sap. This one differs in that it will clear your current target and re-target your closest visible target. Example: If you target a Priest and then notice a Rogue nearby it will switch targets to the Rogue and Sap him.

#show sap
/cleartarget
/targetenemy
/cast sap

Full Preparation v2.0

Blow all your preparable abilities before you use Preparation. This macro will not use Evasion if you are stealthed.

#show Preparation
/cast [nostealth] Evasion
/stopcasting
/cast sprint
/stopcasting
/cast preparation

Premeditation to Cheap Shot

Uses Premeditation then Cheap Shots on your current target.

#show premeditation
/cast Premeditation
/cast Cheap Shot

Premeditation to Garrote

Uses Premeditation then Garrotes on your current target.

#show premeditation
/cast Premeditation
/cast Garrote

BGs – Summon Archmage Vargoth and Smile

Doesn’t work in Arenas anymore, but it always makes me smile in BGs and PVE.

#showtooltip Vanish
/use Archmage Vargoth’s Staff
/stopattack
/cast Vanish

Reliable Vanish

Stops whatever you are doing and Vanishes. Basically it makes Vanish THAT MUCH more reliable.

#show Vanish
/stopattack
/cast Vanish

Vanish in Combat. Otherwise Stealth

If you are in combat the macro will attempt to vanish. If you are out of combat it will stealth.

/cast [nocombat] Stealth; Vanish
